How long does it take to learn HTML and CSS?

Can someone in their forties learn to code?

I still didn't know the answer.

I am a total newbie with zero programming knowledge and forty plus years of living under my belt.

I decided to set about learning HTML and CSS and document my learning journey along the way.

My first goal is to learn enough HTML and CSS to build a website and make it go live.

September 2021

Before reaching this point, I had spent months researching the subject of learning HTML and CSS.

There are six months between October and April which is perfect for me.

I'm really starting to get exposed to some of the good stuff and I'm enjoying the CSS even more.

The end of December marks the end of part one of my study plan.
